 Welcome to Private Pilot Ground School. I am your instructor for the course, Dr. Robert Polselli, and I am a fixed wing (high performance and complex) Commercial and Instrument-rated pilot and instrument instructor and I also hold a helicopter rotorcraft rating. I have been an educator since 1996 and a pilot since 1998. Whether your dreams are to earn a living as a professional pilot or just to fly for pleasure, I will guide you on your journey. The curriculum is rigorous and requires a great deal of self-study and focus on your part. Think of me as your guide on an adventure rather than the traditional "teacher." I will advise, instruct, model, and ultimately lead you down the path to becoming a competent, safe pilot and successful pilot. It is your responsibility to work hard to acquire the knowledge and skills along the path.
